Held the sunday before Rememberance Day - 296 Cadets will partipcate in this afteroon event. All cadets encouraged to attend.   Held in Ayr - it's a wonderful memorial, and for those parents  unable to attend the formal Nov 11th parade on Monday a good event to attend.       Cadets will meet at the Queen Elizabeth arena in Ayr, before marching the short route to the Cenotaph. Monthly meeting of the Squadron Sponsor Committee and parents. 1900h  - upstairs at armoury.

An indoor memorial event - open to the public. The unit will pile our drums and hold a moving tribute to those whom have fallen.   ALL cadets will attend. Cadets to arrive at 1800h. Drumhead will begin at 1900h. Guard will be posted for vigil at cenotaph at immedate end of service.  ( approx 2000h) Guests encouraged to join us.       

All 296 Squadron cadets will be particpating at the Galt Rememberance parade.   All cadets will be at the armoury for 0900h.  This includes our new recruits. The Squadron will march as a whole down to the parade start point. Cadets will march to cenotaph, and take part in the event. Cadets will return, be dismissed from Armory, and approx noon.    

The Band leadership team made the call to cancel the practice tonight so the cadets can relax or catch up on homework.
