We have been asked to provide some senior cadets to assist with the FILL AN ARMY TRUCK Event along with our friends at the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada.

For 10 years, the RHFC has collected food to help the community with their Stuff an Army Truck Campaign.    Started by their Padre Capt Neil Thomsen, CD – it has brought in significant donations of food to the community to help fill the shelves of support systems during the darkest, coldest nights of the year.

This was the first year 296 Sqn has been able to help with the event.

Timing – arrive 0845h at location if shift one, NLT 1230h if shift 2.

2 shifts available.

End  at 1530h.

Dress – FTU w Beret.

Expect weather dependent to wear blue parka, Toque and black gloves.

Cadets can expect to be outside for a great deal of their shift.

Cadets must be the rank of Sergeant or higher to participate in this event.

Location – we will be in Kitchener, as the SOBEYs on Fisher Hallman Road, near the crossroad with Westmount.
