RHFC Change of Command
September 28 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
This Saturday – our friends in the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada will be holding their Change of Command Parade.
This is NOT a 296 Cadet specific event – but cadets may be interested.
Dress – Civies.
The public ( and this includes cadets whom may want to see some Drill done by someone else ) can watch this public parade and change of command.
This only occur every three or four years – and it’s a chance to see the RHFC march and their Band play. You may be in the Rememberance day parade with them later this year, but you don’t get a great look at them on parade)
This event will be held in Dickson park on Sat at 1300.
LCol S.C. Dumbreck will pass command of the Waterloo Region based Infantry Regiment over to LCol J.A. Robinson.
( LCol Robinson himself is an alumnus of 296 Squadron)
Upon completion – the Regiment will then march back to the Armoury.
( For those not in the know – the RHFC is the Army Reserve Unit that are the Primary Tenants of both the Cambridge and Kitchener Amouries. They offer the Sqn a great deal of support )
