UNIFORM ORDERS OF DRESS

Orders of dress refers to the different compositions of uniform cadets will wear at events. It breaks into the following overall categories:

Ceremonial Dress

Mess Dress

Service Dress

Training Dress

Highland Dress

C1 – Ceremonial Dress

C2 – Mess Dress

C3 – Service Dress

Note –

C5 – Training Dress

C5A – Training Dress ( Warm Weather )

Highland Dress

Air Cadet pipe band musicians, drum majors are authorized to wear highland dress, at such a time as they are at parades and events where they are participating as members of a pipe and drum band.

Cadets in highland dress will wear the same level of dress as the remainder of the squadron. If Sqn in C1, they wear C1H. If C2, they wear C3H.

C1H – Highland Ceremoinal

C2H – Mess Dress Ceremonial

( this would be worn by a cadet performing at a mess dinner – typically the person piping in the head table )

C3H – Highland Service Dress
