Cadets will have the opportunity to apply for summer training
Summer training 2024 is still being organised.
Cadets older than 16 may currently apply for staff positions. Deadline to get that to CI Horton with the details needed is 10 Mar 2024.
Regular cadet CTC must be filled in by 13 Mar 2024 so staff can begin processing. Any received after that will be processed as late, AFTER we have processed all the on time ones.
17 Feb 2024 – We received some information on the plan for summer training 2024. Major changes ahead!
And now we have dates too!
On 6 Mar 2024 – we received this information on the Summer 2024 International Exchange to the United Kingdom, the USA, and a small group to the CAP School
Accepted for a Course
Some cadets have been given course offer – those need to be returned signed to AdminO ( CI Horton) without delay.
Cadets will need to refer to the JOINING INSTRUCTIONS – that list of items cadets need to know and do before joining the training
About a week before accepted cadets depart – they will be told their TRAVEL ORDERS. This itinerary will detail how they will be getting to training. For Waterloo region cadets – the most common departure point is the McDonalds/PeavyMart parking lot, across from Conestoga College. Many cadets will depart from here – though in a few cases there may be an alternate departure point picked.
Cadets must travel to camp having packed properly, having with them their HEALTH CARD, their document package, a copy of their course offer. They will travel in uniform.
