Cadet 365 Support

Cadet365 is a collaborative platform for Cadets and Adult Staff across Canada. The suite provides access to familiar products like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Planner, OneNote and OneDrive. The aim of the suite is to promote collaboration and facilitate remote work.

( This means cadets can access an up to date version of the OFFICE suite of programs, at no cost to them)

The innovative cloud-based platform enables the team to work on both personal and work devices. This is a proven solution that balances the need to innovate and continue working with the need to maintain security and accountability.

How does Cadet365 work?

After you have completed your onboarding process, you will always have access to the Microsoft365 suite on your personal or work device. You will be able to use the different apps to collaborate with your colleagues.

How does a cadet get their C365 Email address and Password?

One month after the cadet is entered into our system – the I.T. team will generate the profile for the cadet. The Sqn staff will then forward to the cadet.

The Cadet must login to C365. This will include getting the Microsoft Authenticator App on another device.

Note – if you install Microsoft authenticator on a device, you will need it again to login from time to time, or to re-set your password. It’s NOT just needed for the initial login.

Getting Onboard

Once cadets have their login name and temporary password – they must get onboard. We URGE you to look at this link below to understand this – the security provided by DND and Microsoft is significant. The Sqn Staff are not involved in this part of the process – the onus is on the cadet.

Note – you will need to access your account every 90 days, or the profile will lock and you’ll need to do additional steps to log in.

Password Reset

If you have set up things up and put a NEW password – you will need to go online to reset it. the Sqn staff cannot help you. This page can help you:

If you need to reset your password, use the self-serve password reset by Microsoft corporation ( not a cadet or Sqn web page_)
